In addition to the direct support staff the Registered Manager works 40 hours per week, most of which should be in addition to the levels displayed. In certain circumstances the manager may be included within the staffing levels described. Staffing levels may be changed at the discretion of the Manager if there are particular needs. Care, support & voluntary staff work on a rota system which ensures that the service is staffed by the appropriate number and skill mix, including weekends and public holidays. New employees are inducted within 12 weeks of employment. We manage and train our employees with the aim that all of our volunteers, support & carers are offered the opportunity to upgrade their level of education & achieve a national certificate working with other local service providers. We provide the training appropriate to our service, for example Food Hygiene safety standards, for food handlers.  Health and safety matters, data protection and confidentiality, GBV related concerns and simple drugs and alcohol awareness for young people, adults and our community’s protection take paramount in our services, regardless of age, sex, skin colour and lifestyle chosen.  We chose to remain non-judgmental deliberately and always.
